Lashkar militant, mastermind of attacks on several locations in India including RSS headquarters, eliminated in Pak army ambush

One of the senior commanders of the terror group Lashkar-e-Taiba, Rajaullah Nizamni alias Abu Saifullah alias Saifullah Khalid, was eliminated by a group of 'unidentified miscreants' even inside the security perimeter of the Pakistan army. Militant leader was gunned down by a group of 'unidentified persons' in the vicinity of Matli Falkara Chowk in Pakistan's Sindh province on Sunday. He was gunned down at a road intersection after stepping out of his house on Sunday afternoon, according to sources in news agencies. Rajaullah was the 'mastermind' or one among the masterminds of at least three recent big terrorist attacks in India.

Rajaullah was the name that came up as the mastermind of the attack on the Indian Science Congress in Bengaluru in 2005 and the attack on the RSS headquarters at Nagpur in 2006. The Lashkar chief is also suspected to have planned the attack on a CRPF camp at Rampur, Uttar Pradesh, in 2008 in which seven jawans were killed.

Then, with the Indian intelligence pressure, he escaped from Pakistan and hid in Nepal. There, using the pseudonym Vinod Kumar, Saifullah used to grow the Lashkar organization for an extended period. He was primarily tasked with raising money for Lashkar and recruiting fresh militants into the group. When Indian intelligence recently became aware of his presence in Nepal, he escaped and went back to Pakistan. After traveling to that nation, he began working hand in hand with Lashkar and Jamaat-ud-Dawa leaders

Indian intelligence sources report that he was detained in Sindh province by Lashkar-e-Taiba and the Pakistan Army in Pakistan. The same report indicated that Rajaullah was recently raising funds for Lashkar in Badin and Hyderabad districts of Sindh province. Still, no one knows yet who killed him dead under close security.

Last month, Lashkar militant Abu Qatal was shot dead in Pakistan. He was the acquaintance of Hafiz Saeed, a key mastermind behind the 26/11 Mumbai attacks in India. Someone gunned him down at midnight. His driver too was killed. This Qatal was the mastermind behind several terrorist attacks in Jammu and Kashmir.
