Australia did not lose their number one position even though they lost the final. They lost to South Africa in the World Test Championship final. But Pat Cummins is still at number one in the ICC Test rankings.

Australia Reigns Supreme at the Top

Australia stand at the number one position in the ICC Test rankings with 3200 points. They have a rating of 123 having played 26 Tests over the last two years. South Africa are now at number two after claiming the Test World Cup. They have 2501 points from 22 matches. Temba Bavuma has a rating of 114. South Africa has improved by one place and England has dropped by one place. Ben Stokes is at number three with 3839 points and a rating of 113 after 34 matches.

India Holds Steady at Fourth Spot

India is at position four. There is no movement from their position. They have played 27 Tests in the past two years. India has 2837 points. Their rating is 105. All four teams have a rating higher than 100.

New Zealand Struggles at Fifth
