Trump threatened both India and Pakistan, if the war doesn't end, trade will end! Trump tweeted prior to Modi's speech

US President Donald Trump opened his mouth at the last moment before Prime Minister Narendra Modi's speech. The American President mentioned that he had pushed both nations to end the conflict. He also threatened both nations that otherwise it would impact trade. He pushed both sides to end the conflict, otherwise no trade would be conducted with them.

In the initial moments of his speech at the White House on Monday, he referred to the situation in India-Pakistan. Trump explained that the US administration brokered an instant ceasefire between the two nations. He hopes it will also be a lasting ceasefire. Trump stated that America threatened to end trade with both countries after facilitating this scenario.

The US President stated, "We said, stop it. We can have a lot of trade with you. If you stop it, we can do trade. But if you don't stop it, we won't do any trade (with you)."

Trump also stated, "One of the biggest reasons that they (India and Pakistan) ended the war is trade." Describing the US mediation phase, he said that both the leaders of India and Pakistan were firm on their side. Trump also stated that America contributed greatly in mediating this ceasefire. The US President stated that America is willing to assist both India and Pakistan as far as trade is concerned. Trade negotiations have already begun with India. In a White House address, he stated that negotiations will also begin shortly with Pakistan.

The US President explained that his government had averted a "terrible nuclear conflict" that could have led to a nuclear war, which could have resulted in millions of deaths. Trump also thanked US Vice President JD Vance and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio for making the India-Pakistan ceasefire fruitful.

Trump also tweeted on his social media account on Sunday that India and Pakistan have realized that it is time to end the 'aggression'. This had the potential for more death and destruction, the potential for the killing of millions of innocent civilians. Incidentally, in that social media update, Trump also hinted at upping trade with India and Pakistan. He penned, "Although this has not been discussed, I am going to increase trade with both countries."
