Second round of discussions following ceasefire between India, Pak to happen on Monday. A top-level meet was attended earlier by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his residence at Delhi. News agency ANI said that Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar attended the meeting at 7, Lok Kalyan Marg on Monday. Besides this, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri and the three Indian Army chiefs also attended the meeting. The Prime Minister had lengthy discussions with them. The discussions were to take place on the 'hotline' between the DGMOs of India and Pakistan at 12 noon on Monday. Nothing has been heard so far about those discussions. The Defense Ministry issued a statement that it would address the media at 2:30 pm.

Air Chief Marshal AP Singh, Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi, and Navy Chief Dinesh K Tripathi attended the meeting with the Prime Minister on Monday. It is thought that what will be spoken of during the DGMO meeting, what will be India's stance, was deliberated upon during the meeting at the Prime Minister's house.

India and Pakistan declared a ceasefire on Saturday afternoon. Foreign Secretary Misri had stated that the DGMOs of both nations had spoken about the issue on that day. India and Pakistan then agreed to a ceasefire. The following talks will be conducted at 12 noon on Monday. It is thought that a number of issues between the two nations will be discussed on Monday. Since only the ceasefire was spoken about on that day. Nothing else was brought up. The second set of discussions too is being kept at the level of DGMO. India will be represented in the talks with Pakistan by DGMO Rajiv Ghai.
