Prashant Kishor Shakes Bihar Politics: Says NDA in “Complete Chaos,” Rules Out Contesting Polls

The renowned strategist Prasant Kishor, anxious to become an activist, once again disrupted the political scene of Bihar with his unpredictable moves. On Wednesday, he made a very clear and concise statement that he doesn't have any plans to be a candidate in the Bihar Assembly elections, very decisively putting to rest the rumours hovering over his possible political ambitions. In the ‘Jan Suraaj Yatra' event, Kishor explained that his grassroots movement was more important to him than Leslie’s politics.

NDA in Complete Chaos

Kishor's attack was very direct as he accused Bihar's NDA alliance of being "a total mess without a clue about where to go." According to him, the coalition has no leading figures and no clear ideas for the future, to a point where they even threaten to break up the union. This hard-hitting letter is being sent just at the time when the BJP and JD(U) partnerships are trying to convince their followers that all is well in the camp despite the factional rifts and squabbles.

Nitish Kumar’s Political Fate Questioned

The strategist also alleged that after the next elections in Bihar, the chief minister of the state Nitish Kumar, will no longer be the one forming the government. Kishor took it upon himself to say that the people of Bihar want a change of leadership and they are not satisfied with the current one. "The era of Nitish Kumar is in the past. The decision has already been taken by the people," he asserted without hesitation, further explaining that it is mainly due to the frequent alliance changes that the public now views the CM's leadership as untrustworthy.

Focus on Jan Suraaj Movement

Kishor kept on mentioning that his commitment was to bring about an overhaul of the system via the Jan Suraaj Movement, which was intended for getting in touch with the villagers directly. He was very clear that the transformation of politics to be sustainable needs people's involvement, not just that of party politics.

Bihar’s Political Temperature Rises

Being this bold and assertive, Prasant Kishor has managed to change the whole Bihar political scene, and this is exactly what happened as he was preparing to launch the 2025 campaign. His words have provoked intense discussions among politicians, some seeing his statements as an indication of changes in alliances and voter sentiment.
