The ICC U19 Men's Cricket World Cup broadcast details are finally out! The current series will feature 16 teams that will fight it out for the prestigious title in Zimbabwe and Namibia.
Reportedly, three matches will take place on January 15, 2026, the opening day.
Match Details
Scotland will face off against co-hosts Zimbabwe, India will take on the USA, while Tanzania will be taking on the West Indies on the first day of the action-packed tournament. The best part is that every match of the tournament will be available for watching live through the ICC’s direct broadcast partnerships with leading global broadcasters.
Digital Coverage of the U19 World Cup
JioStar will cover the matches, including their highlights, through Star Sports on linear television networks in India. They will also be available on the digital platform of JioHotstar. Viewers from Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, the Maldives, Nepal, and Bhutan will also be able to view the matches.
Apart from English, the India matches will also be broadcast in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. SuperSport will provide live coverage of all matches across all platforms in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Meanwhile, the matches will be broadcast by ESPN in the Caribbean and South America, and by Willow TV in Canada and the USA. ESPN’s coverage will also be available through the official Disney+ app.
India Beat Team USA by 6 Wickets
Team India were the runner-ups from the previous edition and they proved their worth in the very first match. Reportedly, they put the USA into bat first after winning the toss. Later, Henil Patel delivered a fiery opening spell that broke the resistance of the top order of the USA team. The right-arm pacer was able to get three wickets in his opening burst.
Later, the team tightened its screws on the USA middle order. They also picked up wickets at regular intervals. Ambarish RS, Khilan Patel, Deepesh Devendran, and Vaibhav Sooryavanshi all nabbed a wicket each.
Later, Patel returned and bagged the first five-wicket haul of the tournament to bowl USA out for 107.
