American actor T.K. Carter, best known for his roles in the films like The Thing and Space Jam, has died at the age of 69. This was confirmed by the late actor’s publicist, Freeman. 

As quoted by the Hollywood Reporter, Freeman said, “T.K. Carter was a consummate professional and a genuine soul whose talent transcended genres. He brought laughter, truth and humanity to every role he touched. His legacy will continue to inspire generations of artists and fans alike.” 

Reason Behind Carter’s Death

T.K. Carter was reportedly found dead on Friday in his home in Duarte, California. Hence, no foul play has been suspected. However, the authorities are yet to reveal the main cause of his death.

T.K. Carter was born December 18, 1956 in New York City. If reports are to be believed, he was raised in the San Gabriel Valley. The actor made his debut in the crime drama ‘Police Woman’ on NBC in 1976.

Carter was more famous for playing the role of a chef named Nauls in ‘The Thing.’ His success didn’t stop there as the actor then appeared in ‘Just Our Luck with Richard Gilliland.’

The audience loved his character as Mike Fulton in ‘Punky Brewster.’ that featured on NBC between 1985 and 1986. 

He is known for many comedic performances too, such as the karaoke-singing Iceman in Ski Patrol and the street-smart guy Chester in Seems Like Old Times. 

Later, T.K. Carter was also seen in several films and TV shows like Good Times, The Waltons, The Nanny, Seems Like Old Times, Southern Comfort, Doctor Detroit, and My Favorite Martian.
