Dhurandhar 2 Set for an Eid 2026 Release

After the massive success of Dhurandhar, the makers are already set for the release of its second installment. In fact, they have already announced the release date for Dhurandhar 2, which happens to be March 19, 2026. Interestingly, the Ranveer Singh-starrer will clash with Yash’s Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups.
First Look Added to the Original Film
According to the latest reports, a first-look glimpse of the follow-up sequel was attached to the original film as the end credits. The same footage will also be re-edited with the new footage and added as a teaser at the screenings of Border 2. The latter film, on the other hand, has been slated for theatrical release on January 23, 2026.
When Will the Trailer Release?
The trailer for Dhurandhar 2 is expected to come out at the end of February before the release of the film. The earlier film, on the other hand, performed well on its first 44 days at the box office and has reportedly earned an estimated ₹821.35 crore net. in India. However, it is still over ₹400 crore short of surpassing the Allu Arjun-Rashmika Mandanna starrer Pushpa 2 globally.
The movie is currently in the 7th weekend, but refuses to slow down. The weekend boost has also led to an impressive jump for Dhurandhar. The Saturday collections have helped the movie achieve the ₹800 crore+ feat at the Indian box office. The Ranveer Singh starrer is reportedly also set to break yet another record from Stree 2, featuring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor.
Ranveer Singh’s Upcoming Projects
Ranveer Singh will be shooting for Pralay, a zombie thriller by Jai Mehta. The latter co-directed the popular true crime series Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story with his father, Hansal Mehta. The star cast of Pralay, which also includes Lokah fame Kalyani Priyadarshan, will begin filming in April 2026, following the release of Dhurandhar 2.
