Owaisi in Saudi, Tharoor in Brazil! 59-member Centre delegation, who is Modi sending to which nation?
Seven all-party delegations constituted by the central government will move from nation to nation with the 'Operation Sindoor' campaign and the message of India against terrorism. There are a total of 59 members in the seven groups. There are politicians in the majority. Other than this, the center has also made some inclusion of diplomats in the delegation. They will visit a total of 32 countries. They will also visit the headquarters of the European Union. Two Bengal MPs are included in this 59-member delegation. The government has made the list public who will visit which country with what party.
The names of the seven delegations' leaders were declared by the Union Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs on Saturday. The seven delegations will be headed by Congress' Shashi Tharoor, BJP's Ravi Shankar Prasad, JDU's Sanjay Kumar Jha, BJP's Vyjayant Panda, DMK's Kanimozhi Karunanidhi, the daughter of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi, NCP's Supriya Sule and Shiv Sena's Srikanth Shinde, the son of former Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. Each delegation will consist of five to six members below them. Bengal Trinamool MP Yusuf Pathan and Rajya Sabha BJP MP Shamik Bhattacharya have been added to this team. Yusuf belongs to Sanjay Kumar's team. Shamik has been added to Ravi Shankar's team. Trinamool Lok Sabha leader Sudeep Banerjee was also summoned to be a part of the team. But he cannot travel because of physical sickness.
All-party center delegations will start their tour from May 23.
