The new Oppo Find X9 series announced for October 16, 2025 features MediaTek’s 3nm Dimensity 9500 chip, 200MP periscope camera and enormous 7,500mAh battery.
Introduction
On September 23, 2025 Oppo unveiled the Find X9 series, the company’s most ambitious flagship series to date utilizing MediaTek’s freshly launched Dimensity 9500 SoC. While every flagship is ambitious, the X9 series launches the Find series into a new era of performance, photography, design, and endurance.

Series Overview & Launch Timeline
The Find X9 series will include four models: the standard Find X9, Find X9 Pro, the smaller X9s, and the flagship X9 Ultra. The first two variants, X9 and X9 Pro will be available later this year including global availability following the China launch on October 16, 2025. The X9s and X9 Ultra are expected to miss the October launch and arrive sometime in Q1 or Q2 of 2026.
Key Spec Improvements
● Display: All models are expected to have flat panels, no curved edges, with sizes from 6.3-inch (X9s) to 6.82-inch (Ultra) and resolutions of around 1.5K.
● Camera: The Pro model will have a 200-MP periscope telephoto lens, plus dual 50-MP sensors (wide + ultra-wide) for more creative imaging.
● Battery & Charging: The Pro model supposedly has a 7,500mAh battery, with support for 50W of wireless charging.
● Other Features: Look for IP68/69 ratings, ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensors, and a new rear camera module - gone is the circular hump for a “squircle” design, inspired by the OnePlus 15’s aesthetics.
What This Means for Competitors
Utilizing the first wave of Dimensity 9500 adoption, massive battery capacity, and high-megapixel telephoto optics, Oppo is aggressively targeting competition both in China and globally. Between the premium features going to the non-Ultra models, the historical lines separating “standard” and “flagship top-tier” will soon be history.
Future Expectations and Implications
If these leaks hold, the Oppo Find X9 line will redefine standards for performance per watt and mobile photography. Let us know if you think Ultra will push to even greater levels, but for users who want speed, picture quality, and battery life, this October will be very hard to beat.
