Operation Sindoor Movie Announced, First Poster Revealed Amid Ramping-Up India-Pakistan Tensions

The movie is inspired by the real-life operation of the Indian Armed Forces under the same title that took place during the night intervening the hours of May 6 and 7.
Nicky Vicky Bhagnani Films has jointly announced with The Content Engineer a new film under the name of Operation Sindoor.
The Operation Sindoor poster depicts a bold photo of a woman soldier standing with her back turned. She is seen wearing uniform, rifle in hand, while putting sindoor on her hair.
The backdrop is replete with visual motifs like tanks, barbed wire and fighter jets flying above, all underlining themes of sacrifice, courage and patriotism.
Operation Sindoor comes on the poster with the second "O" of Sindoor struck through by a smear of vermillion. "Bharat Mata Ki Jai" in tricolour reinforces the patriotic mood of the poster.
The project is a tribute to India's quick and tactical reaction to the Pahalgam terror attack. The movie is a fictional adaptation of the Indian Armed Forces' actual operation of the same name, which was executed on the night of May 6 and 7.
The operation targeted nine terror camps based in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (PoK), eliminating a number of terrorists.
The name of the operation, Sindoor, is symbolic. In Hindu culture, sindoor (vermilion) is a sacred sign of marriage, usually worn by women along the hair parting or as a tilak by soldiers before going to war.
Sindoor in the title of the film alludes to the gruesome nature of the April 22 Pahalgam attack, where terrorists targeted men, some of whom were newlyweds, on the basis of their religious identity.
The film's cast has not been announced yet. The film will be directed by Uttam Maheshwari and is likely to offer a thrilling and emotional storyline.
Nicky and Vicky Bhagnani had earlier produced Nikita Roy, a psychological thriller featuring Sonakshi Sinha, which is scheduled for a global release on May 30.
Directed by Kussh S Sinha, the movie explores mysticism and psychological suspense and has Arjun Rampal, Paresh Rawal, and Suhail Nayyar playing major roles.
