Operation Sindoor: Kangana Ranaut, Anupam Kher & others pay homage to Indian army's strike after Pahalgam attacks

As India woke up to a very tense Wednesday morning, news of its precision strikes on "terrorist infrastructure" locations in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) started flooding the headlines. The operation, carried out code-named Operation Sindoor, was conducted in the wee hours and at nine strategic points associated with terror infrastructure, which was a retaliatory action following the April 22 murder of 26 innocent tourists at Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. Within minutes of confirmation of the military strikes, the Indian Army tweeted on X, "Justice is served. Jai Hind! "In the aftermath of this high-voltage military operation, celebrities from all over the nation used social media to express their support with the armed forces and the nation.

One of the first was veteran actor-director Anupam Kher, who merely tweeted, "Bharat Mata Ki Jai #OperationSindoor".".

The Kashmir Files (2022) director Vivek Agnihotri reiterated the feeling in one word: "Jai Hind."Veteran actor Paresh Rawal expressed his response to the news on X via the folded hands emoji, mentioning Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji.

Bindu Madhavi, who is a familiar face in Telugu and Tamil films, also expressed her solidarity on her Instagram stories: "Operation Sindoor, Jai Hind."

Actor-turned-MP Kangana Ranaut responded with a series of sentimental Instagram stories. In the first, she posted, "Unhone kaha tha Modi ko bata dena. Aur Modi ne unko bata diya. #OperationSindoor". In another, she shared, "Jo hamaari raksha karte hain, ishwar unki raksha kare. Wishing our forces safety and success." Her last story was a picture of Prime Minister Narendra Modi with the caption, "Identify. Track & Punish.".
