Bad news again in Bollywood. Mukul Dev, brother of late actor Rahul Dev, passed away. He was only 54 years old! He died in Delhi late on Friday night. It is said that he had been suffering from physical illness for several days. Actor Manoj Bajpayee was the first to announce the news of Mukul's death on social media. As soon as the news of Mukul's death spread, a shadow of grief spread in the city. Friends of the recently deceased actor immediately reached his house.

Mukul was a versatile talent. From the small screen to the big screen, he had effortless movements everywhere. He was seen playing the role of a police officer in his first film 'Dastak'. Former Miss World Sushmita Sen also made her Bollywood debut with this film. Mukul's performance in the film 'Jai Ho' with Salman Khan caught the attention of the audience and critics. Early Life and Family Background
Mukul Dev was born in a Punjabi family in New Delhi. Elder brother Rahul Deb is a popular actor. Mukul's father Hari Deb was the Assistant Police Commissioner at that time. He was the one who provided the young boy with his initial exposure to different cultures. Hari Deb introduced Mukul to Afghan culture. Apart from acting, the actor was proficient in Hindi and Persian languages. Apart from this, Mukul is a trained pilot of ‘Indira Gandhi National Flying Academy’.
