The 'Dhak Dhak' vs. 'Khuda Gawah' Debate

Madhuri's dance in the song 'Dhak Dhak Karne Laga' in the film 'Beta' continues to be talked about. The bodily movements of the actress created a storm then. That dance was 'indecent'! The late actress Sridevi has been equated to Madhuri in that video. Sridevi's acting and dancing in the film 'Khuda Gawa' was appreciated in that video. The video was scripted along with the lines, "She did nothing in the whole film. But she received the award for dancing indecent dance in the song 'Dhak Dhak Karne Laga'. On the contrary, Sridevi didn't receive that appreciation although she had played a double role in the movie 'Khuda Gawa'."

Public Backlash and Speculation

The moment she 'liked' the video, it was evident that Janhvi was endorsing that statement. The actress was livid afterwards. Critics laughed, "This time, possibly Janhvi might say like Virat Kohli, that she liked this video because of technical reasons." Most also asserted that the actress 'liked' this video so that she could be in the spotlight. It is to be noted that both movies 'Beta' and 'Khuda Gawa' were released in 1992.
