Delhi Capitals' Disappointing Season

Even after finishing seventh in the IPL, Pant will return stronger, states team mentor Zaheer Khan. Similar to Pant, Zaheer also acknowledged that their season was so poor due to injuries. As Zaheer described, "When the IPL begins, all teams aim to reach the playoffs. To do that, you need to plan a lot. We attempted to do the best to deal with the issues that we were facing from the start of the season. We lost a lot of bowlers due to injury. But we attempted not to dwell on that."
