On Sunday's Mother's Day, Virat posted three photos on social media. In the first photo, even though his face is not seen, it is known that Anushka is standing in the garden with her son Akay in her arms. Their faces are not seen as they are facing the opposite direction of the setting sun. The second picture is of Virat when he was a child, with his mother. The third picture is of Anushka and her mother.
Virat penned, "Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers of the world. I was born in the arms of one mother, another mother adopted me as a son, and another mother whom I have seen grow up to be a loving, caring, nurturing mother to our children. We love you every day, love you very much."
Anushka also responded to the equation of relationship in the same manner. She also posted a photo of her mother on social media. That photo is of Anushka's mother during her teenage years. With that, Anushka posted a photo of Virat's mother as well. The actress captioned, "Happy Mother's Day to all the lovely mothers of the world."
Virat-Anushka have been together for nearly seven years. They have Bhamika and Akay as their children. Lately, it was heard that Virat is retiring from Test cricket internationally. Anushka has not been spotted in the world of silver screen for quite a while. Both of them are now engaged with their families abroad, out of India.
