SSC CGL Exam: Students have been continuously protesting regarding the irregularities in the SSC CGL exams, after which the SSC Chairman Gopal Krishna has assured that there will be no irregularities of any kind in the upcoming SSC exams. The SSC Chairman has also stated that the technical issues are being resolved. He further mentioned that there were no irregularities in the last stenographer recruitment exam, and no such issues will be seen in the upcoming exams either.

Irregularities in SSC CGL Exam

The Selection Phase 13 exam was conducted between 24 July and 2 August 2025, during which various technical and other issues were observed. Problems like server downtime, exam centers being too far, and candidates being removed from exam centers during protests were reported.

Let us tell you that around 5 lakh or more candidates participated in this exam. On 24 July, the exam was canceled at two centers and rescheduled. Approximately 60,000 candidates were unable to take the exam, which is why additional shifts are being organized on 29 August to complete the examination.

Issue Before the Chairman

Students remain highly concerned about their exam centers. Often, they are allotted centers in cities that take one to two days to reach. Regarding this, the Chairman has said that the responsibility for the exams was earlier with Tata Consultancy Services, when such center issues were not observed. Since the new agency, Eduquity, took over, these problems have been noticed. However, some improvement has been made, and 80% of students have been allotted their preferred centers.
