Complain to Senior Officers If Police Refuse to File a Report

If, even after complaining to senior officers, your FIR is not being registered, you should go to a judicial magistrate and file your complaint. You can file this type of complaint with the magistrate either in writing or privately, stating that your complaint is not being heard anywhere.

After reviewing your complaint, if the magistrate deems it necessary, they will issue an order to the concerned police officers to register your report. Even after this, if your grievance is not addressed, you can approach the Sessions Court, High Court, and even the Supreme Court. After this, an order to register the FIR can be obtained from the High Court.
