LPG Price May 2025: The number of LPG gas cylinder consumers in India is very high. In such a situation, all consumers always want to stay updated with the latest information about LPG gas prices. For your information, let us tell you that with the start of the month of May, Indian Oil has reduced the prices of 19 kg commercial cylinders. According to the information received, now the commercial cylinder will be available ₹17 cheaper.

If we talk about the prices of this commercial gas cylinder, then in Kolkata, its price has now become ₹1851. In Mumbai, the price of this commercial cylinder has become ₹1713. In Chennai, the price of this commercial cylinder was ₹1921, which has been reduced to ₹1900. In Delhi, its price has been set at ₹1747.

Talking about the prices of domestic gas cylinders, the government last updated them on April 8, 2025. Since then, there has been an increase of ₹50 in the prices of 14.2 kg LPG gas cylinders. For the last 1 year, the price for domestic LPG gas cylinder consumers was kept fixed. Now, a price cut has been made in commercial gas cylinders. In Delhi, it has become ₹41 cheaper. These rates will remain effective in the month of May.

Cheap LPG Cylinder Available in India

We would like to inform all LPG gas cylinder consumers that there are a total of 32.9 crore LPG gas connections in India, out of which 10.33 crore have been distributed under the Ujjwala scheme. Under this scheme, the government has given a subsidy of more than ₹11,000 crore in the last 1 year, while oil companies have been paid more than ₹22,000 crore so that the oil companies selling at a loss do not incur any loss.
