Deepika Padukone Faces Backlash from Directors Over Work-Hour Demands Post-Motherhood
Deepika Padukone

Deepika Padukone has recently become a mother. In addition to taking care of her daughter, she is also going to resume her profession. That is where the problem begins. The star doesn't want to work more than eight hours a day in order to balance out her professional and personal life. That is why she has been excluded from Sandeep Reddy Bhanga's next film 'Spirit'. But the issue does not end here. Another leading director, Nag Ashwin, is also against Deepika for the same reason.

Deepika May Be Excluded from 'Kalki' Sequel

The heroine may also be excluded from the sequel of her film 'Kalki'. No director ever had any objection to Deepika till now. Instead, all complimented the heroine's workaholic attitude. It is heard that Deepika felt her daughter also seeks as much time or attention from her as her profession after giving birth to her daughter. She wishes to bring up her daughter alone. It is also heard that she has asked for a fat amount from director Sandeep. Sandeep did not like it. He has replaced Deepika with Tripti Dimri. Firstly, Tripti bid no higher than Deepika. Secondly, she has no demands from the profits of the film too.

Deepika's Career at a Crossroads?

While there is no confirmation, it is said that Deepika too has had an issue with Nag Ashwin for the same reason. The movie boasts Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan and other top stars. Will the director pay heed to Deepika's multiple objections? This question has been raised in Bollywood. Apart from that, if one movie after another is lost like this, and other heroines get a chance to act in her stead, it will not be good for Deepika.
