Govt Marriage Scheme: If you are unable to bear the expenses of your daughter’s marriage, the government will help you. The government has started a scheme named Mukhyamantri Samuhik Vivah Yojana. This scheme has been launched by the Uttar Pradesh government. Through this scheme, financial assistance of ₹1,00,000 is being provided for the marriage of a daughter. This scheme is being run for poor and middle-class families. Through this scheme, lakhs of families are availing benefits.

₹1,00,000 Help for Daughter’s Marriage

The Uttar Pradesh government has announced financial assistance for the marriage of girls from all poor families in its region. The government has started the Samuhik Vivah Yojana, under which financial assistance of ₹1,00,000 is given for the daughter. Under this scheme, earlier ₹51,000 was provided, which has now been increased to ₹1,00,000. Out of this ₹1,00,000, ₹7,000 is directly transferred to the bank account, ₹25,000 is spent on the daughter’s marriage and gifts, and ₹15,000 is spent on organizing the mass marriage.

Who Can Apply for the Scheme

Under this scheme, families who are residents of Uttar Pradesh can apply. Families whose annual income is less than ₹3,00,000 are eligible. The age of the girl getting married must be 18 years or more, and the groom’s age must be more than 21 years. All sections of families in Uttar Pradesh can avail the benefits of this scheme, with special focus on Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Backward Class, and minority communities.
