If farmer brothers get a Kisan Credit Card, they can avail loans at very low interest rates through it. They can obtain a loan of up to ₹300,000 whenever needed, with an interest rate of just 7%. A discount of up to 3% is also provided on timely loan repayment, reducing the interest to just 4%. If crops are damaged due to any natural calamity, the government also provides subsidies.

Soil Health Card Scheme

Government laboratories have been set up at various locations for this purpose, and farmers are advised on which crops will thrive in their soil, increasing crop yield and benefiting the environment.

Pradhan Mantri KUSUM Scheme

This scheme aims to reduce the electricity costs for farmer brothers. Under this plan, farmers are encouraged to use solar energy. By installing solar panels in their fields, electricity is generated, and efforts are made to provide farmers with 24-hour electricity. Investments are also made in agricultural equipment, such as rice and potato planting machines, which reduces costs for farmers and gives them an opportunity to become self-reliant.
