TCS Cuts Senior Staff Salary Again, Employees Upset as It Happens for the Third Consecutive Time

TCS Pay Cut News: A big news has come regarding India’s largest IT company, Tata Consultancy Services. TCS has cut the salaries of its senior employees in the January-March quarter. This is the third consecutive time in this company. This has been happening for the last three quarters. According to the information received, a 15 to 20% cut has been made in the ETC of senior employees. However, not all employees’ salaries have been cut in this manner, but according to the details received, the salaries of 30% of employees have been cut.
New TCS Policy to Provide Quarterly Variable Allowance (QVA)
In April 2024, Tata Consultancy Services implemented its new policy. In this, the payment of the Quarterly Variable Allowance given to employees is based on their attendance. Under this policy, if an employee has more than 85% attendance in the office, they will receive 100% variable allowance. Meanwhile, if someone is present between 75% and 85%, they will get only 75% QVA.
Also, if the staff has attendance between 60 and 75 percent, they will receive only 50% variable allowance. Employees with less than 60% attendance will not receive any kind of variable allowance. Through this policy, employees are being encouraged to be present in the office as much as possible.
TCS Will Not Increase Salaries
TCS employees are waiting for a salary hike, but Tata Consultancy Services has postponed the annual salary increase for some time. According to information received from the company, this decision has been taken due to the uncertainties prevailing in the global market.
