Talking about the month of July, a record of 19.47 billion transactions was set, which shows that India is rapidly advancing in digital payments. The National Payments Corporation of India recently released some figures, according to which India’s digital economy is growing very fast.

Let us tell you that the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) has released new figures, according to which a total of 19.47 billion transactions were conducted via UPI in July 2025. This is the highest number of transactions in any month so far. If we look at it in terms of money, a total of 25 lakh crore rupees worth of transactions happened through UPI. In terms of money, this transaction was slightly higher in the month of 2025.

For quite some time now, UPI transactions have been used extensively, and people are conducting a lot of transactions through it. The number of UPI transactions has been increasing for the past several years. Now, every person makes multiple UPI transactions in a day.
