Punishment for Selling Chinese Manjha

If any person is caught selling this type of Chinese manjha, a case is registered against them under the Environment Protection Act 1986. As a result, a fine can be imposed on the shopkeeper. Along with this, the police can arrest such accused individuals from their homes, take them to the police station for interrogation, and present them in court. In many cases, the shop is also sealed. There is a provision for a fine of up to ₹100,000 and imprisonment of up to 5 years.
