India Pakistan War Live Updates: The war between the two neighbors has reached new heights. Following the IMF loan approval, armed confrontation intensified at the border last night, which was carried forward in the morning today.

The ministry of external affairs and ministry of defence, in a morning briefing, stated that the actions of Pakistan are escalatory and provocative. They stated that the Indian troops in retaliation attacked various military bases in Pakistan, including the Sialkot air base.

Pakistan used drones and fighter jets to attack military bases and civilian targets. India has insisted that it does not desire escalation but Pakistan also needs to be devoted to de-escalation.

They also stated that Pakistan has been observed to redeploy more troops to frontline positions, which is an indicator of escalation.

There is also a range of false news and misinformation that is being circulated online, which citizens should be cautious of.

The Indian military successfully intercepted air threats during the night, demonstrating strong air defence systems. Some of the targeted areas were Jammu, Samba, Rajouri, Udhampur, Nagrota, Awantipora, Reasi, Poonch, Akhnoor, and some areas of Punjab such as Pathankot and Amritsar. Three civilians were injured in Ferozpur when wreckage from a crashed Pakistani drone hit a house.

These raids come in the wake of India's targeted military raid—Operation Sindoor—against nine terror camps in Pakistan and PoK for the Pahalgam terror strike that left 26 civilians dead.
