Modi states India’s Digital Strength

At the 2025 India Mobile Congress, Modi PM informed the world about India’s escalating position in the global digital ecosystem. Speaking to the corporate world and tech lovers, he pronounced India gifted to become a center of data in the world by taking excellent care of her human resource and functional upgrades.

Data protection and sovereignty at the core

PM Modi outlined data security and sovereignty at the center of data policy and practice and demanded security preparedness to safeguard the privacy of the citizen data involved along with the encouragement of innovation activities. “Security,” he stressed, mentioning India’s adherence to global standards, “and privacy will be two sides of the same coin in our secure digital ecosystem.”

Connectivity as the vehicle of Innovation

The Prime Minister, emphasizing on the need for connectivity, articulated that India's growing internet penetration and 5G implementation were two major drivers for the country to be a tech leader. The so-called startups, IT moguls, and small businesses were advised to exploit the given facilities to provide creative solutions that could face tough competition in the world market.

Logic of the Economy back Data

PM Modi connected India's aspiration to turn India into a data center hub to the continuous economic progress. He pointed out that the implementation of data-driven techniques in industries like healthcare, farming, education, and finance would not only give the domestic market a boost but the foreign investors too would be delighted with the new investment scenario.

International Cooperation and Tech Superiority

Modi was of the opinion that there should be more collaborations with other countries to involve in joint ventures in the tech domain and exchange of expertise. He also remarked that India's status as a digital leader would not only bolster its geopolitical clout and attract capital inflow but also create compilings of incitement.

The Next Step: India as a Data Powerhouse

PM Modi’s statement makes it clear that the India Mobile Congress 2025 has a long way to go before it can realise the country's transformative vision. India is committed to holding data secure from outside intruders, establishing open and robust connections and providing incentives to take the lead in innovation and, thereby, creating new grounds in technology-based progress.
