You can opt to deposit ₹3000 at once to get an Annual FASTag, which means you won’t need to pay toll tax repeatedly.
If you get your Annual Pass made, you can cross a toll plaza for just ₹15 thereafter. Due to the implementation of the new FASTag, you are going to benefit in many ways. Cross a Toll Plaza for Just ₹15
According to the information given by Nitin Gadkari, if you deposit ₹3000 and get your Annual FASTag Pass, you can cross 200 toll plazas. This means you will have to pay only ₹15 per toll plaza. This implies that by depositing ₹3000, you can make 200 trips, and the cost per toll plaza will be just ₹15. Generally, when we go to a toll plaza with a vehicle, we have to pay a minimum toll of ₹50. In such a case, for 200 trips, we would have to pay around ₹10000. If we get the Annual Pass, it will save us around ₹7000.
