Let us tell you that this fraud is happening on such a large scale that many technology experts are involved in the e-ticketing racket, and they are providing Tatkal ticket services to people in just 60 seconds using Telegram and WhatsApp. To hide their own identity, the admins of these groups are often seen using international numbers.

Through these groups, you can get a verified IRCTC user ID for just ₹360, which, when used to book Tatkal tickets, gets your ticket booked instantly. These IRCTC IDs are being used to generate OTPs. To overload the system, these fraudulent people use automatic browser extensions, which allow tickets to be booked at a very high speed.
