New UPI Rules 2025: Account Balance Display After Payment from 1 August
New UPI Rules 2025: From 1 August, see your account balance post-payment, limit balance checks to 50/day on apps like Paytm and Google Pay!
New UPI Rules 2025: Nowadays, most people prefer using UPI for any kind of payment. Through UPI, you can easily send money to anyone, and after that, you can see how much money you have sent on your screen. However, from 1 August 2025, a new UPI rule will come into effect. After this rule, when you make a payment to someone, your remaining account balance will be displayed on your mobile screen.
Let us tell you that this rule will be implemented across the country from 1 August 2025. After this, as soon as you make a UPI payment, you will know how much balance is pending in your account, which will ensure you never face transaction failure issues, and you will always be aware of how much balance is left in your account.
NEW UPI RULES
NPCI is adding a new update to UPI. Now, when any user makes a successful payment, along with a message, they will see information about how much money was transacted and how much balance is left in their account. Along with this, a new rule is being introduced regarding the number of balance checks, according to which you can check your account balance a maximum of 50 times in a day. If someone checks their account balance more than this, it puts a load on the server.
If you use UPI applications like Amazon Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, CRED, Google Pay, and BHIM, this rule will apply to all of them. Collectively, you cannot check your account balance more than 50 times in a day on these apps.
NPCI Has Made Some Changes
NPCI has introduced new UPI rules, and because of this, even after your automatic payments like medical insurance EMI, etc., you will see your balance displayed. The balance information may appear on your screen after a short delay, making your transaction transparent.
