New Pension Rules: The central government has taken a major decision regarding the pension scheme. According to this decision, if you work in any public sector unit and are sacked from your job for any reason, you will not receive the benefits that are available after retirement. For this, the ministry has amended the rules and issued a notification on May 22, 2025. The ministry itself will decide whether the decision to sack the employees is right or wrong. If the decision to dismiss the employees is correct, then they will not receive any kind of benefit.

New Pension Rules

Let us tell you that the government has made changes to the Central Civil Services Pension Rules 2021. According to the new rule that has been made, if an employee of any public sector unit is sacked before retirement due to any mistake or wrongdoing, such a person will not be given any benefits that are available after retirement. In such cases, the employee cannot avail benefits like pension and gratuity.

Along with this, the notification provides information about the rules, stating that the decision to sack employees will be reviewed by the ministry. If the decision to dismiss the employees is proven wrong, the ministry can reverse it and reinstate the employees to their jobs.
